Hello guys, welcomeback to my blog again! How are you? I hope you are always stay healty. Today i wanna tell you PROCEDURE TEXT. 

Understanding Procedure Text
Procedure text is a type of text in English that contains the purpose and steps to make or do something related to that goal. The function of this text is to show how to do something through sequential steps so that the reader can reach the goal.

Procedure Text Features

  • Using Simple Present Tense.
  • Using an imperative sentence which is a form of sentence that is usually used to give orders. For example, don't mix, turn on, cut into slices and so on.
  • Using the connective of sequence (then, while, next, and so on).
  • Using numbering (first, second, third, and so on).
  • Use action verbs. For example, turn, plug, put, and so on).
  • Using adverbs. For example: slowly, carefully, and so on.
